The signal at Decatur showed stop and proceed, which told me there was likely a northbound coming. I rolled on toward Gentry, to catch this 181 as the light went.

A closer look as the grain move approaches the Dallas St crossing.
By now, the shadows were growing long, and the train was dodging in and out of the light. Here it is, getting a brief shot of sun as it passes the speed board and MP 210 in Gravette.
The grain move-I finally caught up to the head end-passes Butler Creek as a family enjoys the water on this 80 degree afternoon.
When I was getting to Noel, there was chatter about the grain move meeting a northbound, which turned out to be this 261, approaching Kings Highway.

The grain train rolls away from me at Goodman, a surprise in the DPU.
I followed the lite power move up toward Neosho, hoping hed meet a southbound either here or at Dalby. Or failing that, hed go on, and I could check out the BNSF for a little while. There was a southbound grain move just clearing the crossing here as I went past on MO 59.
